what is the cursed pirate?

Synopsis

The Cursed Pirate is a fantasy adventure comic that chronicles the journey of Isla, a woman from the 17th century who is cursed to live forever at sea. Nearly a century later and amid the Golden Age of Piracy, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Count Peter Romann and discovers he may change the direction of her doomed life. Despite her reluctance, Isla, Peter, and a motley crew must journey to the Devil's Triangle— where Isla must face the monsters of the sea and the past.

Goals

I launched a Kickstarter in September 2023 to raise funds for creating Book One. This was in hopes of hiring a team to reduce my workload. However, the campaign failed to meet even 2% of the intended goal. To reach funding and start the production process quickly, I decided to cut my budget and fundraise for a colorist only. I have taken on the task of writing, illustrating, and formatting the series for web and print.
